Calumet & Geary, OK

Calumet and Geary were on the 1926 alignment of Route 66 but by 1933 they were bypassed by a more direct route from El Reno to Bridgeport. That realignment was called the El Reno Cutoff.

Geary:
The 1926 - 1932 alignment of Route 66 turned south at the intersection of Hwy. 270 and Hwy. 281 on the south edge of town. Turn north there, on Broadway, to see the landmarks in Geary.
