The former M-System Grocery Store #7 at 3306 SW 6th Ave. dates back to
the 1920s. It is now the Fibonacci Building and is occupied by Chamber
Music Amarillo. Attached in the front of the building is a plaque stating
it is on the National Register of Historic Places. It is part of the 6th
Street Historic District.
With the exception of the addition of a small awning over the entry
door the facade of the building appears relatively unchanged from the
1920s. The style of the facade is similar to other M-System stores of
the time.

About Us We started traveling Historic U.S. Route 66 as a destination in 2009. It's like a 2,400 mile long drive back in time from Chicago to Santa Monica! more
Did You Know: Many parts of the old 4 lane Route 66 were reverted to
a 2 lane road after 66 was realigned to the interstate. In many places the abandoned
lanes are still there.
