This cottage style Phillips 66 Station was built in 1931 at the corner of 6th & Elgin Streets in Tulsa. The little garage building was built sometime later. The station was a rental car location when these photos were taken in 2012. The badges on the main building had also been replace with small signs bearing the slogan of the rental car company, but the Phillips "P" on the chimney was still there.

x The small round Phillips 66 shield was still in place on the end of the garage building, but the one on the front had been replaced by a sign with the slogan of the rental car company.

xDid You Know: Many parts of the old 4 lane Route 66 were reverted to a 2 lane road after 66 was realigned to the interstate. In many places the abandoned lanes are still there.
