Elm's Court

I haven't been able to find much information about the old Elm's Court on E. 11th Street in Tulsa. Going by the style of the buildings I'm guess they are from the late 1920s or the 1930s. It is located on the south side of 11th St (Route 66).

I would love to have seen this sign in its prime. The neon tubing is all gone, but my imagination lights it right up again!

The cottages appear to have been modified over the years so it's hard to be sure what is original and what isn't.

There are only two buildings left, but I'm guessing that there was at least one, maybe more to the east of the existing structures.

x About Us We started traveling Historic U.S. Route 66 as a destination in 2009. It's like a 2,400 mile long drive back in time from Chicago to Santa Monica! more
xDid You Know: Many parts of the old 4 lane Route 66 were reverted to a 2 lane road after 66 was realigned to the interstate. In many places the abandoned lanes are still there.
