Lincoln's Lodge Motel304 N. Dirksen Pkwy, Springfield, ILPhone:
The former Robinson Modern Tourist Court was built in 1950. At some
point in time it became the B & F Motel and later Lincoln's Lodge.
It's one of several small motels along Dirksen Parkway which was the
1940 yo 1977 Route 66 bypass alignment.

You Know: Many parts of the old 4 lane Route 66 were reverted to a 2 lane
road after 66 was realigned to the interstate. In many places the abandoned
lanes are still there.
