The former TraveLodge opened in 1959 with 30 units. It's across the street from the Falcon Restaurant. The motel has taken the same path as many other vintage motels and has become an apartment building. But luckily for us there are old postcards around that allow us to take a peek back in time to the history of some of these places. There was a heated swimming pool that has long since been filled in.
