Entre Restaurant & Motel

1919 W. 3nd St., Winslow, AZ

East < GO > West

The Entre Restaurant opened in 1958. But it appeared vacnt and the main sign was just an empty frame and there seemed to be no one around when we took these photos in 2015.

xIn the early years the restaurant also promoted the nearby Tonto Rim Motel. Kenny Jue bought the restaurant in 1972 and In 1976 he built the Entre Motel next door to the restaurant. The motel was the Ponderosa Apartments in 2015. The motel swimming pool is long gone

x About Us We started traveling Historic U.S. Route 66 as a destination in 2009. It's like a 2,400 mile long drive back in time from Chicago to Santa Monica! more
xDid You Know: Many parts of the old 4 lane Route 66 were reverted to a 2 lane road after 66 was realigned to the interstate. In many places the abandoned lanes are still there.
