This old Gulf Oil station is across the road from the former Bill-Mar-Den,
which is now the Stagecoach
66 Inn. The station appears to have been built in the early 1970's.
That put's it only a few years before the end of the heyday of Route 66
in Seligman. The station looked more or less abandoned in 2013 when I
took this photo.

You Know: Many parts of the old 4 lane Route 66 were reverted to a 2 lane
road after 66 was realigned to the interstate. In many places the abandoned
lanes are still there.
