East < GO > West

The small Aztec Motel and Gift Shop is just across the street from the Sno Cap Drive In. There are several murals by the artist Wesolowski on the outside walls. The first building here, an adobe structure, was built in 1915 by Juan Delgadillo (uncle of Snow Cap Juan Delgadillo) More rooms were added in 1955 .on a wood frame building. There was a gas station and a restaurant here as well.

x The sign is big enough to easily spot as you enter town from the east. The building is included in the National Register of Historic Places. This is the farthest east property in the Seligman Commercial Historic District and is also on the Seligman Walking Tour.

x About Us We started traveling Historic U.S. Route 66 as a destination in 2009. It's like a 2,400 mile long drive back in time from Chicago to Santa Monica! more
xDid You Know: Many parts of the old 4 lane Route 66 were reverted to a 2 lane road after 66 was realigned to the interstate. In many places the abandoned lanes are still there.
