Dating back to 1953 the Snow Cap Drive-In is a wonder to behold. Thread your way through the crowds when the tourist buses are in town and enjoy a delightful treat.

Juan Delgadillo built this wonderful place in 1953. When a deal to make it a Dairy Queen didn't happen he turned to the Sno Cap Drive-In chain. When the Sno Cap chain went out of business he arranged to become owner of the name.

x There are a few covered tables outside for fair weather dining. Grab a seat and chat with other Route 66 travelers.

x Food isn't the only attraction at the Sno Cap, be sure to take a walk around back and look around Juan's Garden full of old cars and various pieces of memorabilia. The building is included in the National Register of Historic Places: Seligman Historic District listing as well as being on the walking tour.

x About Us We started traveling Historic U.S. Route 66 as a destination in 2009. It's like a 2,400 mile long drive back in time from Chicago to Santa Monica! more
xDid You Know: Many parts of the old 4 lane Route 66 were reverted to a 2 lane road after 66 was realigned to the interstate. In many places the abandoned lanes are still there.
