Ash Fork Inn859 Old Route 66, Ash Fork, AZ
With 26 rooms this was a fairly large motel for a town the size of Ash fork in the 50s and 60s. It was apparently one of a small chain of motels that included motels in Needles, CA and Phoenix, AZ. They offered to make "free" reservations at those two motels, I'm guessing that the free part meant no service charge to make the reservation and no long distance charge for the call.
Early 1960s Postcard
26 modern refrigerated rooms
Note: I dated this postcard by the vehicles in the parking lot,
the newest of which was an early to mid-1960s Chevy pickup truck. The
oldest was a 56 Chevy.
