Ash Fork Inn
859 Old Route 66, Ash Fork, AZ
Phone:
The former Nomad Motel was the Ash Fork Inn when these photos were taken
in 2013. It is located on the west end of town between the eastbound (Park
Ave.) and westbound (Lewis) Route 66 Avenues.
With
26 rooms this was a fairly large motel for a town the size of Ash fork
in the 50s and 60s. It was apparently one of a small chain of motels
that included motels in Needles, CA and Phoenix, AZ. They offered to
make "free" reservations at those two motels, I'm guessing
that the free part meant no service charge to make the reservation and
no long distance charge for the call.

the newest of which was an early to mid-1960s Chevy pickup truck. The
oldest was a 56 Chevy.
