This museum is run by the Ash Fork Historical Society and a volunteer
staff. There's a whole ton more to see here than just Route 66 history.
The museum is located in the 1920s Maintenance Camp #1 building.
One of the many interesting displays is the model of the long gone
Harvey House. There is also a model of the town here.
Hours are 9-4 Monday-Friday

You Know: Many parts of the old 4 lane Route 66 were reverted to a 2 lane
road after 66 was realigned to the interstate. In many places the abandoned
lanes are still there.
