Luther, OK

The town of Luther was platted in 1898 and incorporated in 1907. This was primarily an agricultural area. The old road has been realigned in a couple of places for a mile or so at Luther.

xDid You Know: Many parts of the old 4 lane Route 66 were reverted to a 2 lane road after 66 was realigned to the interstate. In many places the abandoned lanes are still there.
