This 1930s station has had many operators and names over the years. Among those names are Jerry's Cafe, Krahn's Texaco & Cafe, Krahn's Truck Stop, Texaco Station & Cafe, Robinson's Route 66 Cafe, Anita's Longhorn Gas & Cafe and Old 66 Club Tavern. It was vacant when we went by in 2009.

Did You Know: Many parts of the old 4 lane Route 66 were reverted to a 2 lane road after 66 was realigned to the interstate. In many places the abandoned lanes are still there.
