The Shamrock County Inn is the former 31 unit Ranger Motel. It also had a swimming pool which has since been removed. The motel opened in September of 1959. At the time there were about 5,000 cars a driving through Shamrock on Route 66 every day. Check out the cool neon sign shown on the early 60s postcard below.
