This building is a private residence now. The Mission Revival style San
Jacinto Fire Station #3 was built in 1926 and stayed in use until 1975.
Of all the fire stations built in Amarillo before WWII this is the only
one left standing. It is next door to the Natatorium.
When it was built, the estimated value was $10,500.00. When its life as
a fire station ended it was sold for just $7,600.
