This former Cities Service gas station and garage features "Ice Box"
styling. The "Ice Box" name comes from the porcelain enameled
steel panels on the exterior of the building, the same kind of finish
on many refridgerators.
This photo shows the steel panels on the outside of the building. Notice
the curve at the top of the top edge of the wall.

road after 66 was realigned to the interstate. In many places the abandoned
lanes are still there.
