The former Rainbow's End Court was opened in 1947/8 by Mr.. and Mrs. Howard & Son. Sometime in the 50s they added the new office seen in the foreground of this photo and changed the name to the Town House Motel. Later they added the two story section and a swimming pool. Looking through the carport you see the original location of the office. The old office is behind the pierced block screen that probably arrived with the remodeling and name change. I'm not sure when the motel became the Economy Inn, or if there were other operators in between, but it was closed and boarded up in 2012.
