The La Cita Restaurant opened in 1940 on the north side of Route 66. This newer building with a sombrero-shaped entranced opened on the south side of Route 66 in 1961. The restaurant closed in 2004 but reopened in 2006. They also have a gift and flower shop here.

xDid You Know: Many parts of the old 4 lane Route 66 were reverted to a 2 lane road after 66 was realigned to the interstate. In many places the abandoned lanes are still there.
