Kix on 66 is located in a 1960s Denny's. For many years Kix was owned by the same family that owns Del's Restaurant. They converted it to Kix in 2004 when Denny's moved to a location closer to I-40. New owners took over at Kix in 2019. It is only opened for breakfast and lunch. The Apache Motel stands between the two restaurants. Kix also has a small variety of Route 66 stuff for sale. We've eaten here several times over the years and always enjoyed the experience.
