The sign on the roof of the Boulevard Cleaners is just too cool! This
20 foot tall neon sign features "The Wash Lady". In 1952 the
Lu brothers opened a family owned and operated dry cleaners and laundry. The
cleaners is now located right next to the old La
Nora Courts, in fact it sits on the site of the old La Nora Courts
office and gas station.
In
1999 the business was sold and it became Boulevard Cleaners and Laundromat
located in this building next to the old La Nora Courts.

About Us We started traveling Historic U.S. Route 66 as a destination in 2009. It's like a 2,400 mile long drive back in time from Chicago to Santa Monica! more
Did
You Know: Many parts of the old 4 lane Route 66 were reverted to a 2 lane
road after 66 was realigned to the interstate. In many places the abandoned
lanes are still there.
