The 1939 McKinley County Courthouse is built in the Pueblo Revival Style. The Plaza is the location of Nightly Indian Dances during the summer months, Memorial Day and Labor Day. On the west side of the Courthouse Plaza there is a Veterans Walkway with names etched in lighted pillars.

These pictures were taken on June 23, 2015 and show the White Eagle Dance Group from the Zuni Pueblo. The dancers and dances vary during the season. A limited amount of seating is located around the Plaza.

x A large mural can be seen on the south wall of the building. The building was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

x About Us We started traveling Historic U.S. Route 66 as a destination in 2009. It's like a 2,400 mile long drive back in time from Chicago to Santa Monica! more
xDid You Know: Many parts of the old 4 lane Route 66 were reverted to a 2 lane road after 66 was realigned to the interstate. In many places the abandoned lanes are still there.
