The 19 unit Blue Spruce Lodge reportedly closed in 2022. It was opened in 1949 by John Novak and John Milosevich using the slogan "For A Pleasant Stay in the Indian Capital". Milosevich managed the motel and eventually bought out Novak.

x The very cool neon sign stands proudly out front hailing weary Route 66 travelers to stop for a nights rest.
