The Arrow Food Market originally opened across the street at 1023- 4th St. SW. in 1945/46. By 1955 it had moved to this store at 1101. It was owned and operated many years by Justo Sanchez. The store was still operating in the late 1980s, but had apparently closed sometime before 2007. The building was sold in 2018 with the new owner intending to locate an antique shop there.

There's a pretty cool sign hanging on the front of the Arrow Market building at 1101 SW 4th St. Albuquerque, NM.
