This park is just past Hwy. Y, where the divided road starts. It is one of the last roadside parks on Route 66 in Missouri.

The Route 66 Neon Park open in May of 2025.

The G. M. Reed Park contains an M-60 tank from the Desert Storm era at the park as well as a military memorial dedicated to service people and their families. The memorial was dedicated in May 2013.

The Neon Park opened with nine vintage neon signs from Route businesses.

x About Us We started traveling Historic U.S. Route 66 as a destination in 2009. It's like a 2,400 mile long drive back in time from Chicago to Santa Monica! more
xDid You Know: Many parts of the old 4 lane Route 66 were reverted to a 2 lane road after 66 was realigned to the interstate. In many places the abandoned lanes are still there.
