Wild Animal Safari, formerly Exotic Animal Paradise is located just off Route 66 east of Strafford. This is a 5 mile drive through adventure park. Tourist attractions like this featuring assorted wild critters has been a part of the route 66 experience pretty much since the beginning.

xDid You Know: Many parts of the old 4 lane Route 66 were reverted to a 2 lane road after 66 was realigned to the interstate. In many places the abandoned lanes are still there.
