This little cafe building is a kind of mystery to me. I've seen a photo from 1993 and another that appears to be from the early 1940s when the Bumgarner store and Phillips 66 gas station stood on the east side of it, but that's about all the information I've found.

Did You Know: Many parts of the old 4 lane Route 66 were reverted to a 2 lane road after 66 was realigned to the interstate. In many places the abandoned lanes are still there.
