City Hall Route 66 Mural

126 Washington St, Stafford, MO

East < GO > West

This cool Route 66 mural was painted on the side of the City Hall in 2016. Strafford is a smaller community that's making a good sized effort to attract and welcome travelers on the other Road.

xThat stripe running around the middle of the City Hall building is painted to resemble a two lane blacktop road. City Hall is right next to Delp Park that is home to the replica of the old Frisco Depot which is designed to be a elcome Center.

x About Us We started traveling Historic U.S. Route 66 as a destination in 2009. It's like a 2,400 mile long drive back in time from Chicago to Santa Monica! more
xDid You Know: Many parts of the old 4 lane Route 66 were reverted to a 2 lane road after 66 was realigned to the interstate. In many places the abandoned lanes are still there.
