This is a small and friendly old fashioned diner with not much available
history before a new owner took over in 2016. There was a new outside
paint job between our first visit in August 2016 and our second in November
2016.
The
diner seats about 30 or so people at a handful of booths, a couple tables
and 10 stools at the counter. It's a great spot for a cup of coffee
or lunch before or after visiting the Route
66 Car Museum next door.

About Us We started traveling Historic U.S. Route 66 as a destination in 2009. It's like a 2,400 mile long drive back in time from Chicago to Santa Monica! more
Did
You Know: Many parts of the old 4 lane Route 66 were reverted to a 2 lane
road after 66 was realigned to the interstate. In many places the abandoned
lanes are still there.
