Fred and Jean Miller opened their Al-PAC Cafe in 1942 and later added a Lodge and Motel. The Restaurant burned in 1976. The motel part is still standing, but no longer serving as a motel.

Various postcards show the name as the Al-PAC Cafe, Al-PAC Restaurant, Lodge & Motel. The name Al-PAC comes from combining the names of Allenton and Pacific.
