Just west of St. Louis you go through Crestwood and, using I-44 for a few miles, on to Eureka and the Route 66 State Park Visitor Center.

Eureka:
Going west from Crestwood follow Watson and merge onto I-44-west to Eureka and the Route 66 State Park. The park visitor center is on the east side of the river, but is the city of Eureka and much of the park sits on the west side of the Meramec River in what used to be known as Times Beach.
