24069 Route 66 , Lebanon, MO 65536

East < GO > West

The Lebanon I-44 Speedway opened in 1983 just east of Lebanon next to the old Route 66. The 3/8 mile track has an interesting history having opened as a dirt track then getting paved with asphalt in 1989, then reverting to dirt in 2003 before being repaved with asphalt in 2009.

If you like short track racing and are in Lebanon on a Saturday night from April to September you might want to consider taking in a race here.

x About Us We started traveling Historic U.S. Route 66 as a destination in 2009. It's like a 2,400 mile long drive back in time from Chicago to Santa Monica! more
xDid You Know: Many parts of the old 4 lane Route 66 were reverted to a 2 lane road after 66 was realigned to the interstate. In many places the abandoned lanes are still there.
