This cemetery was established in 1840. It is on the left side of the road
just past the Hazelgreen town sign on Route 66, not quite a mile west
of I-44 exit 145. At this point Route 66 is essentially the south frontage
road for I-44.

You Know: Many parts of the old 4 lane Route 66 were reverted to a 2 lane
road after 66 was realigned to the interstate. In many places the abandoned
lanes are still there.
