This sign has been painted over. This large sign advertised both the Gardenway Motel and the Diamond Inn Motel. This sign is located on Bus44/W.Osage St./Route 66 & Hwy. MO100. At one time it also advertised the Diamonds Restaurant. Scroll down to see the restaurant.

This huge sign was designed to lure passing travelers off the interstate. It's on the south side of the freeway just east of exit 253. It big enough and high enough to be seen by motorists going either east or west in time to exit the freeway. As recently as 2012 this sign advertised Diamonds Inn Restaurant and Motel on the very top rail.
