Former Williamsville Bank Building

The building on the right was the Williamsville State Bank which was started in 1890 by John Prather. In 2016 it was being used as a wedding venue. Notice the bank depository near the left entrance in this photo.

At different times over the years the Interurban Railroad ran on both sides of this building, first past the front door on the corner and later around the west side (left side in this photo).

xThe plaque like emblem near the roof line read "Bankers Electric Protection Company, Minneapolis, Alawys At Work". That was a company that made an early type of alarm systems.
