This photo shows a small building with what were three guest rooms on the left, the office in the center, and the owners residence on the right. At least as late as the mid-1990s there was a second building with guest rooms behind the office.

xThis would have been the office for the tourist court and possibly a gas station. It is located on the east side of Route 66, 2/10 mile south of Laraway Rd. (just south of Stone City Dr.) The 2012/3 IDOT Route 66 in Illinos Survey dates this complex to the 1950s, I wouldn't be surprised if it was older than that.
