The Bar-Len Drive-in Theater in Lenwood California is long gone, but the
parking pattern is still visible. The property is now fenced so access
is pretty much zero. The theater could accommodate at least 425 cars and
maybe as many as 460. . It was part of the Western Amusements Group in
1955 and remained open until sometime in the mid-1970s. The screen was
destroyed in 1997.

You Know: Many parts of the old 4 lane Route 66 were reverted to a 2 lane
road after 66 was realigned to the interstate. In many places the abandoned
lanes are still there.
