Bearizona1500 E. Route 66, Williams, AZPhone: 928-635-2289
Note: If you follow 51a east it takes you to E. Mountainman Trail which is the 1926-31 alignment of Route 66, parts of which are a rough dirt road and sometimes muddy. Going east on 51a from the Bearizona entrance the old road begins at the cattle guard and goes for about 2 miles to the stop sign at Hwy. 146. You can turn north there to get back on I-40 at exit 167.

There
are a couple of sections of the old 1932-1984 alignment of 66 that are
bisected by Highway 51a (Bearizona Blvd.) that takes you to the entrance
to Bearizona. This is looking southwest.
This
is looking northeast.

Did
You Know: Many parts of the old 4 lane Route 66 were reverted to a 2 lane
road after 66 was realigned to the interstate. In many places the abandoned
lanes are still there.
