This was the 1920's Standard Oil & Gas Bulk Plant where gas and oil
were stored before being distributed to gas stations and garages. The
building served that purpose from the 1920's to the 1960's.
The
building is on the 1926 to 1932 alignment of the Mother Road at the
corner of Railroad Ave and Lamport St..It is included in the National
Register of Historic Places: Seligman Historic District listing as well
as being on the walking tour.

road after 66 was realigned to the interstate. In many places the abandoned
lanes are still there.
