The 42 mile Historic Route 66 National Back Country Byway is the road that goes from McConnico through Oatman and on to Golden Shores. It begins near the McConnico I-40 (exit 44) southwest of Kingman and ends at Golden Shores a few miles north of Topock. The sign above is near mile post 47 shortly after turning onto the Oatman Highway, There is another marker at about milepost 34, before you get to Cool Springs.

There is a kiosk at about milepost 34, before you get to Cool Springs. This is the marker at the Golden Shores end of the byway, it is at milepost 8, a short distance north of Golden Shores.
