In 1946 Roy Dunton and his Uncle, N.R. Dunton came to Kingman from Goldroad and bought Owens Ford and changed the name to N.R. Dunton Motors. In 1949 Herb Biddulph and Roy bought out N.R. and started Biddulph and Dunton Motors. Later Roy bought out Biddulph and opened Roy Dunton Motors. Many years later Dunton Motors Dream Machines builds and sells dream machines - vintage cars, hot ruds, classic cars in this building. They also has a collection of vintage gas pumps and other memorabilia.

The dealership is right next to Mr. D's Cafe and across the street from the Powerhouse Museum and Route 66 Welcome Center.

The OK Used Cars sign that dates back to the 1960s was restored and re-installed in 2015. The OK Used Cars concept started in the 1920s by Chevrolet. It's sort of like today's certified used cars marketing concept.

x About Us We started traveling Historic U.S. Route 66 as a destination in 2009. It's like a 2,400 mile long drive back in time from Chicago to Santa Monica! more
xDid You Know: Many parts of the old 4 lane Route 66 were reverted to a 2 lane road after 66 was realigned to the interstate. In many places the abandoned lanes are still there.
