Mr D'z Route 66 Diner
105 E. Andy Devine Ave., Kingman, AZ
Phone: 928-718-0066
Mr D'z is located right across the street from the Powerhouse
and Route 66 Museum in what was once a 1938 Shell station and the
Kimo Cafe. Later the cafe became the Triangle Cafe before becoming Mr
D'z Route 66 Diner. What was originally a flat roofed building has been
heavily modified. The glassed in dining room in front and covered patio
occupy what used to be the the canopy over the pump island.
We've had lunch here a couple of times and it lived up to the Route
66 tradition of friendly service and good food served in large portions.
There
are two of these Route 66 mileage signs in Kingman, this one located
across the street from Mr D'z Diner. The other by the Lewis Kingman
Park on the east end. The park is located at 2201 E Andy Devine Ave,
just west of Harrison St.
