Located at the intersection of Navajo Blvd. and E. Arizona Ave. the historic Navajo County Courthouse in Holbrook houses an interesting little museum. On summer evenings Indian Dances are held nightly on the lawn.

xThere are several monuments on the grounds as well. This War Memorial honors the soldiers of WWI, WWII and the Korean War. It was erected by the American Legion in 1953.

xThis monuments stands to honor those from Navajo County who died in the Vietnam War. It was sponsored by the American Legion, the B.P.O.E, the Knights of Columbus and the Citizens of Navajo County.

x A primitive pioneer jail sits just outside the courthouse entrance. This would probably pass as "light and airy accommodations" as well as a reminder that life in the pioneer west could be a bit harsh.

x About Us We started traveling Historic U.S. Route 66 as a destination in 2009. It's like a 2,400 mile long drive back in time from Chicago to Santa Monica! more
xDid You Know: Many parts of the old 4 lane Route 66 were reverted to a 2 lane road after 66 was realigned to the interstate. In many places the abandoned lanes are still there.
