This photo is from 2012, but the former Sands Motel / Best Western / Country Inn was wearing an America's Best Value Inn / Country Inn sign when we went by in the spring of 2015. This is a rather good sized motel on the west side of Vega. The motel opened in 1963 with 42 rooms.
