The 1956 Kelly Motel had 15 or 16 guest rooms and a managers apartment. As shown in the postcard below, there was an office section with a canopy over the office entrance, the canopy has been removed and some windows filled in. I wonder if that happened during the renovation after a significant fire in the mid 70s that destroyed the owner/managers apartment and several rooms.
