This old drive-in theater stands just west of the Rock Creek Bridge, but is hard to spot from the post 1952 alignment, which is just behind the tree line in this photo. When the theater was operating access was on the older 1926 alignment that you see here. You need to go west about 2 miles to Dixieland Drive, turn right, turn right again on the Ozark Trail and then drive to the theater. Or you can walk to the theater from the Rock Creek Bridge if it's still open to pedestrian traffic.

Just west of the Rock Creek Bridge on W Ozark Trail.
GPS: 35.994640, -96.139810

x The theater name is all but unreadable on the marquee seen here. The little projection booth and consession stand building cab be seen past the right edge of the screen in this photo.

x About Us We started traveling Historic U.S. Route 66 as a destination in 2009. It's like a 2,400 mile long drive back in time from Chicago to Santa Monica! more
xDid You Know: Many parts of the old 4 lane Route 66 were reverted to a 2 lane road after 66 was realigned to the interstate. In many places the abandoned lanes are still there.
