The Former Frontier Motel was the Serenity Inn when we went by in 2016.
It is just west of town on Hwy. 69 used to be a motel but has been converted
to longer term rentals including a small mobile home park. I think the
building on the left was the original motel mentioned in a 1955 travel
guide, and the building on the right was added later but probably by the
mid 1960s. That second building may have been a restaurant. The
sign out front advertises Rooms - Apts - Mobiles, Weekly Monthly.
