This is a pretty informative historical marker outling the history of
Foss starting in 1900. Look for the tall white water tower on the north
side of town to find it at the School House Hill & Park.
The old school was just behind these historical markers and the foundation
is still there. Built in 1923 this was the third and last school in
Foss and it closed in 1957 and was demolished sometime later. The center
panel contains images of the first and last school houses.
