This is where many Route 66 travelers found the legendary "Harley
and Annabelle: Mediocre Music Makers". They weren't home when we
took this photo in 2012 and sadly Annabelle has passed on so we never
got the pleasure of meeting her.
It's not hard to spot the building, it's on Sheb Wooley Blvd. about
one block south of the 100th
Meridian Museum and covered with brightly colored old signs. The
building was the old City Meat Market.

About Us We started traveling Historic U.S. Route 66 as a destination in 2009. It's like a 2,400 mile long drive back in time from Chicago to Santa Monica! more

You Know: Many parts of the old 4 lane Route 66 were reverted to a 2 lane
road after 66 was realigned to the interstate. In many places the abandoned
lanes are still there.
