The 100th Meridian Museum in Erick, Oklahoma is located in the historic First National Bank Building on the SW corner of Route 66 and Sheb Wolley Ave at the stop light. The museum is dedicated to the presentation of the 100th Meridian Line for the past 166 years. It is only open by appointment, call to make arrangements.

Constructed in 1907 the bank occupied the front 60 feet of the first floor and a barber shop the back 20 feet. Oddly enough the elaborate ornamentation on the building only extended as far as the bank section. At one time there was another barber shop in the basement. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979

The former Roger Miller Museum is just across the street and the Sandhills Curiosity Shop is just down Sheb Wooley Avenue a block or so.

x About Us We started traveling Historic U.S. Route 66 as a destination in 2009. It's like a 2,400 mile long drive back in time from Chicago to Santa Monica! more
xDid You Know: Many parts of the old 4 lane Route 66 were reverted to a 2 lane road after 66 was realigned to the interstate. In many places the abandoned lanes are still there.
